How To Make Garlic Penne Pasta with Tomato Vodka Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs penne pasta
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1/2 Canadian bacon, diced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 28-oz. tomatoes, crushed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp red pepper, crushed
- 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated
Instructions

Sautee the onion and garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes until they brown.

Add in the tomatoes, Canadian bacon, crushed red pepper, and peas and cook them over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Add in the heavy cream and vodka and continue cooking for 5 more minutes until the sauce thickens.

Meanwhile, in a separate pot, boil the penne pasta until it becomes firm and drain.

Place the pasta on individual plates, top it with tomato-vodka sauce and cheese, and serve.
